Baccarat is one of the most popular casino games in Malaysia, and at ez69 we deliver the most complete, secure, and enjoyable playing experience available. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned player, this guide will walk you through everything you need to know about baccarat from start to finish.
Baccarat is far from a new game. It has existed for hundreds of years and is now one of the most widely played table games at online casinos worldwide, including among Malaysian players. Its appeal lies in its simplicity — you only need to place one bet, and the outcome is decided quickly.
At ez69, baccarat is available in multiple formats — from standard tables to Live Casino tables with real dealers streamed live. The atmosphere closely mirrors the experience of sitting at a real casino table, but with the comfort of playing from your own home.
Many Malaysian players turn to baccarat as an alternative to slots or skill-heavy poker games. Baccarat offers a more balanced playing field between the player and the house, with a lower house edge compared to most other games — meaning your bankroll lasts longer when you play with the right strategy.
Ez69 offers baccarat tables with a wide range of betting limits, suitable for casual players starting from RM20 all the way to VIP players placing larger bets. All tables are operated fairly using either an audited RNG (Random Number Generator) system or live dealers from a licensed studio.
Baccarat rules are straightforward and easy to pick up, even if it's your very first time
Log in to ez69 and choose a baccarat table that fits your budget. Tables are available with minimum bets as low as RM5, right up to exclusive VIP tables.
Choose whether you want to bet on Player, Banker, or Tie. Place your chips before the betting window closes.
Two cards are dealt to the Player and two to the Banker. Card values are counted — cards 2–9 are worth face value, 10/J/Q/K are worth 0, and Ace is worth 1.
The side closest to 9 wins. A Player win pays 1:1, Banker pays 0.95:1 (5% commission), and a Tie typically pays 8:1.
In baccarat, a third card may be drawn automatically according to the following rules:
Understanding each bet type is essential before you start playing at the ez69 baccarat table
| Bet Type | Payout Ratio | House Edge |
|---|---|---|
| Banker | 0.95:1 (less 5% commission) | ~1.06% |
| Player | 1:1 | ~1.24% |
| Tie | 8:1 | ~14.36% |
| Player Pair | 11:1 | ~10.36% |
| Banker Pair | 11:1 | ~10.36% |
| Perfect Pair | 25:1 | ~13.03% |
The Banker bet carries the lowest house edge and is generally recommended for more conservative players.
Avoid the Tie bet despite its attractive payout odds. A house edge of 14% is far too high for any long-term strategy. Stick to Banker or Player bets to keep your sessions sustainable.
Remember: baccarat is a game of chance, but making smart betting choices can help extend your playing time.
No strategy guarantees a 100% win rate, but the right approach can significantly improve your odds
Statistically, the Banker wins more often — roughly 51% of all non-tie rounds. Despite the 5% commission, it remains the best bet for players looking to play long-term.
Before you play, decide how much you're willing to lose and how much profit is enough to walk away. For example, if your budget is RM200, stop when you're down RM100 or up RM150. Discipline is key.
Many new players fall into the Martingale trap — doubling their bet after every loss. For casual players, it's safer to stick to a flat bet each round to keep risk more manageable.
Most baccarat tables at ez69 display a history of previous results (Bead Road, Big Road, etc.). While each round is independent, some players use these trends as a guide when deciding where to place their bets.
Divide your budget into multiple sessions. If your total budget is RM300, play RM100 per session and take a break in between. This keeps your mind clear and helps you stay in control of your emotions.
Ez69 offers a practice mode for new players who want to get familiar with the game without risking real money. Use this opportunity to get comfortable with the interface and game pace before playing with real funds.
After a string of losses, the natural instinct is to increase your bet to "win it back". This is the most common trap. Losing streaks are a normal part of the game and do not mean a win is guaranteed to follow.
